Series 03 - Wind Blind
EN: "Wind Blind" is a heavy, visceral investigation of organic symmetry and motion. Conceptually, the artwork proposes a striking critique of the human and technological illusion of attempting to calculate, map, and predict the future through mathematical algorithms or Artificial Intelligence systems. The artist employs the concept of the "Blind Wind" as a poetic and overwhelming metaphor for life's unpredictability. While the cold, mechanical mind perceives an everyday object—such as an umbrella—purely through its logical, protective utility, the inevitable force of the wind arrives to subvert this order, destroying its practical function and turning it inside out. Within the canvas's organic and dynamic curves, the chromatic chaos reveals its true intent: to demonstrate that the beauty of the present lies precisely in the act of letting things happen, forcing the viewer to abandon calculated metrics to simply contemplate and feel the untamable intensity of the colors.

Conceitualmente, a obra propõe uma crítica contundente à ilusão humana e tecnológica de tentar calcular, mapear e prever o futuro através de algoritmos matemáticos ou sistemas de Inteligência Artificial. O artista utiliza o conceito do "Vento Cego" como uma metáfora poética e arrebatadora da imprevisibilidade da vida. Enquanto a mente fria e mecânica percebe um objeto cotidiano — como um guarda-chuva — puramente através de sua utilidade lógica e protetiva, a força inevitável do vento chega para subverter essa ordem, destruindo sua função prática e virando-o do avesso. Nas curvas orgânicas e dinâmicas da tela, o caos cromático revela sua verdadeira intenção: demonstrar que a beleza do presente reside justamente no ato de deixar acontecer, forçando o espectador a abandonar as métricas calculadas para simplesmente contemplar e sentir a intensidade indomável das cores.

The artwork is born from a process of absolute, top-tier craftsmanship: the cedrinho wood stretcher frame (60 x 60 cm), precisely structured and reinforced with 45-degree corner keys, is entirely designed and manufactured by the artist himself. His solid background as a woodworker and set designer for TV, theater, and cinema bestows an impeccable engineering and museum-grade durability upon the structure. Upon this robust foundation, the semi-linen fabric is meticulously stretched and treated with careful, high-end chemical preservation: a magnesium priming to ensure full canvas PH neutralization, followed by two coats of acrylic gesso, securing the artwork's longevity across decades.

A obra nasce de um processo de absoluto artesanato de elite: o chassi de madeira Cedrinho (60 x 60 cm), precisamente estruturado e reforço com chaves de canto em 45 graus, é inteiramente projetado e fabricado pelo próprio artista. Sua sólida bagagem como marceneiro e cenógrafo de TV, teatro e cinema confere uma engenharia impecável e durabilidade de nível museológico à estrutura. Sobre essa base robusta, o tecido de semilinho é meticulosamente esticado e tratado com uma cuidadosa preservação química de alto padrão: uma imprimação de magnésio para garantir a neutralização completa do pH da tela, seguida por duas camadas de gesso acrílico, assegurando a longevidade da obra por décadas.
EN: Visually, the piece establishes a sophisticated, contemporary contrast of techniques. The background is built using the perfectly smooth surface of spray paint, creating an ethereal atmosphere that serves as a stage for the main design. Upon this foundation emerge dense, expressive brushstrokes loaded with high-quality acrylic paint. This tactile play enhances the physical relief of the medium, generating a beautiful visual friction against the noble, original texture of the semi-linen.
On the reverse lies a rigorous system of preservation and international cataloging. The technical registry of authorship, serial number, and applied mediums is handwritten with Posca pen inside the chassis, accompanied by an international museum-standard technical label on Canson paper structurally framed in Paraná board. The industrial fastening system features two forged eye hooks and a braided stainless steel tension cable secured with industrial pressed aluminum crimp sleeves. The collector's wall is safeguarded by multilayer protective bumpers made of 3M silicone, 3mm E.V.A., and soft fabric. The masterwork is accompanied by a registered bilingual Certificate of Authenticity (COA), featuring official cartório registry and holograms on the Portuguese version, and the traditional custom stamp of the √2 seal on the English version.

O fundo é construído utilizando a superfície perfeitamente lisa da tinta spray, criando uma atmosfera etérea que serve de palco para o desenho principal.
